In advance of a national media push to market Kohler toilets that clean themselves, the creative team was briefed by our consumer insights partners. To the surprise of no one, the research showed that while consumers care deeply about having a clean toilet, actually cleaning it is among their most hated chores.
Sometimes the simplest, most self-evident ideas make for the strongest creative. The campaign that surfaced was drawn directly from this universal truth: nobody likes cleaning toilets. So why not let your toilet clean itself? Less time cleaning. More time doing what you love.
